My first Middle School Misadventure book that was released in 2019, published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, has been published by LeYa publishing in Portugal!
I recently received my author copies from the publisher and have been waiting to share it with you.
One of the things I kept wondering about was how they were going to handle the handwritten sections of the book. The handwritten moments in the book have just as much personality as the rest of the characters do. So when the package came in I took the first copy out of the box and flipped to a page that had a handwritten moment in the book. And I can’t tell you how incredibly happy I am with how it looked. The talented editors and designers at LeYa and ASA made the handwritten sections look nearly identical to the original. I couldn’t be more proud of it.
It’s so awesome to hold this particular copy in my hands, but even more so that new readers will be able to experience and follow the misadventures that Newell and all his friends go on!
